Deflection and general stress analysis: stage assessment
Modules 13 to 15: deflection, complex stress and strain, and energy methods. Several of these can be done more than one way — if two routes agree, you have a real check.
This draws on the whole stage rather than one module, and several questions need two ideas combined. Work them out properly before checking — the point is to find out what you can do unaided, and a hint taken early tells you nothing.
